Arriving at school
We request that on arrival, all children assemble in the undercover area before school where they will be supervised by a teacher until being directed to classes at 8.20 am. Children should not arrive before 8.10 am.
Attendance
Department of Education regulations require an explanation to cover all absences. Advice can be in writing, via email, telephone or SMS on 0447 958 751 to advise of your child’s reason for absence. If your child is absent and you have not informed the school, an SMS will be generated to inform you of their absence.
Holidays taken during the school term require permission from the Principal. Please complete the In Term Holiday form with your request, child’s full name, year, room number and dates of absence and return to the office.
Late Arrivals
Children arriving after the siren at 8.30 am must enter school via the Front Office to obtain a Late Pass. This is to ensure that their arrival and reason for lateness has been recorded and overwrites any unexplained absence the teacher may have recorded on their attendance roll.
